I see that there are tools to convert virtual disks from KVM to VMware, then to Hyper-V. We just need to help them keep the system running until the whole platform can be replaced (which both of our departments are currently working on). Way too much really old OS, software, and custom stuff for us or them to be able to spin up newer VMs, reinstall or backup/restore things, and make it all work.
